In Christ Who Was Born At Christmas
All Men May Live Again
Let us all remember
When our faith is running low,
Christ is more than just a figure
Wrapped in an ethereal glow–
For He came and dwelt among us
And he knows our every need
And He loves and understands us
And forgives each sinful deed–
He was crucified and buried
And rose again in glory
And His promise of salvation
Makes the wondrous Christmas Story
An abiding reassurance
That the little Christ Child’s birth
Was the beautiful beginning
of God’s Plan for PEACE on EARTH.

MOTHER is a word called LOVE
And all the world is mindful of
The love that’s given and shown to others
Is different from THE LOVE OF MOTHERS…
For Mothers play the leading roles
In giving birth to little souls,
For though ‘small souls’ are heaven-sent
And we realize they’re only lent,
It takes a Mother’s loving hands
And her gentle heart that understands
To mold and shape this little life
And shelter it through storm and strife…
No other love than MOTHER LOVE
Could do the things required of
The one whom God gives the keeping
Of His wee lambs, awake or sleeping,
So Mothers are a ‘special race’
God sent to earth to take His place,
And MOTHER is a lovely name
That even SAINTS are proud to claim.

1… God won’t ask what kind of car you drove. He’ll ask how many people you drove who didn’t have transportation.
2… God won’t ask the square footage of your house, He’ll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
3… God won’t ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He’ll ask how many you helped to clothe.
4…God won’t ask what your highest salary was. He’ll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
5… God won’t ask what your job title was. He’ll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
6… God won’t ask how many friends you had. He’ll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
7… God won’t ask in what neighborhood you lived, He’ll ask how you treated your neighbors.
8… God won’t ask about the color of your skin, He’ll ask about the content of your character.
9… God won’t ask why it took you so long to seek Him. He’ll say my arms were always Open.
10…God won’t ask how many people you treated this way, He already knows!
Whatever Your Humbug? Never give up!
LIFE is not a contest, But rather a journey, in which we can help others reach a better place.
Don’t Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is intrigue with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he’d stuck it out.
Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit -
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.
